Computer game cars- now you can have a real one
The graphics really do look stunning in the new Grand Turismo compared to the real thing. When playing these types of games i could really go for one of the top of the range cars that I am racing with. When you see how well the car can peform you could really do with purchasing it, does it really have to cost as much as you might think?

Before, when playing driving games I have never really found myself to be interested in cars at all but after playing some of the newer ones like Grand Turismo it is difficult not to see what people see in some of these fantastic cars. The graphics that are put into games, especially driving games really put the player into the action. In ten years the industry for gaming has come so far enabling more funding for games such as Grand Turismo 5. Playing F1 on the N64 nearly ten years ago I remember thinking that you really are not going to beat the graphics of the game.
After loading up the new GT5 it is amazing to see just how far the graphics have come in such a short time span. Of course it is arguable that you can’t steer away from the playability of the N64 as it is a truly amazing console, purely because it was the main one I played constantly when I was a schoolboy. It wasn’t until recently whilst playing one of the graphically stunning looking games that I decided I could really do with one of these awsome looking cars.
Are these games made to be played with or are they just a huge database for advertising the top cars out on the market? To a certain extent, yes! You can pick the car you want to race with and even choose what colour you want it to be. In these types of games the graphics are so good you could really choose your next car as well it’s colour without having to leave the house. Fantastic!
As well as this, with hires like Audi contract hire for ridiculously small amounts of money a month, the cars you see in games can truly become your own.
